In this programme, comedian Dara Ó Briain sits down and chats with Stephen Hawking about his career, his life with motor neurone disease and what he envisages for the future. Promises to be funny and life-affirming in equal measure.

Lenihan: A Legacy (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

A special one-hour profile on the late Brian Lenihan, who served as Minister for Finance at the height of the economic crash. The programme will examine his ascent in politics, his role in government and his leadership aspirations.

Broad City (Comedy Central, 11pm) 

The first season of the sitcom continues on Comedy Central tonight and it’s the wedding episode! A mad dash from Penn Station to Connecticut has never been so entertaining. Also, Ilana’s suit. YASS, QUEEN. #BroadCity

Everyone’s talking about… the new X Factor judges

Here we goooo....can't wait to get started with these two @cherylofficial @ritaora @thexfactoruk and that Simon bloke nicholasgrimshaw nicholasgrimshaw

Today it was announced that Nick Grimshaw, recently seen on TFI Friday, and Rita Ora, formerly of The Voice, will join the X Factor judging panel.

The duo will join Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell in judging the next slew of wannabe singers.

Earlier today, Cowell welcomed the pair to the pack.
